Shooting Star Candlestick Formation

Shooting Star Candlestick Example

Description

The Shooting Star candlestick formation is composed of a single candlestick during an uptrend. It is composed of a small real body, either red or green, a large upper shadow, and a small or non-existent lower shadow. The upper shadow should be at least twice the size of the body, while the lower shadow should be smaller than the body. It shows a reversal of sentiment in an uptrend, and is a bearish signal.
