Doji Candlestick Formation

Doji Candlestick Example

Description

The Doji candlestick formation is composed of a single candlestick bar. A Doji is a print, or price bar, in which the open equals the close. With the open and close being identical, a doji has no candlestick body. Also, classifying a candlestick as a doji does not indicate the lengths of the upper and lower wicks. Dojis are classified into different formations that further categorize the type of doji being seen, and what the length of the top and bottom wicks of the candlestick may indicate for future movements.
